Mandy has been honored with 3 Emmy awards for anchoring and 8 Emmys for reporting, including two for journalistic enterprise and one for writing. Mandy has also won 4 Edward R. Murrow awards.
Mandy was named Outstanding Young St. Louisan in 1996. In 1998, she received the Illuminator Award from the AMC Cancer Research Center for her commitment to breast cancer issues. She is currently on the board of Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc. She is also president of the board for S.H.A.R.E.
Before joining FOX 2, Mandy worked in both radio and television. At WPSD-TV in Paducah, Kentucky she was an anchor, consumer reporter and news producer. Mandy graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor's degree in journalism. She lives in Creve Coeur with her husband Paul Brown. They have two daughters.
