Sean Conroy joined FOX 2 News in January of 2003 as a general assignment reporter. Prior to FOX 2, Sean worked as a reporter at WDAF-TV, the FOX affiliate in Kansas City. Sean also worked as a reporter at KTVX-TV in Salt Lake City, WBAY-TV in Green Bay and KTTC-TV in Rochester, Minnesota. During his professional career, Sean covered the Columbine shootings in Colorado, the Olympic scandal in Salt Lake City, reported aboard the naval submarines U.S.S. Columbia and U.S.S. Salt Lake City, and covered an international summit between then Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and King Hussein of Jordan.
Sean is a graduate of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism where he interned at the NBC News Bureau in London. Sean serves as an annual guest lecturer at the School of Journalism.
Sean grew up in Ogden, Utah, the son of an F-16 pilot and wing commander at Hill Air Force Base. Sean now makes his home in St. Louis with his wife Ande and his daughter Quinn. Sean enjoys spending time with his family, entertaining friends and rooting for the Cardinals, Rams and Blues.
