BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, MO (FOX2now.com) -
An overnight high speed chase between a woman and her boyfriend ends when the she crashed into another car in Bellefontaine Neighbors. The pickup she was driving then caught fire. The accident happened just before 1:00am at the intersection of Lewis and Clark Boulevard and Comet.
Good Samaritans who live nearby heard the crash and came to the aid of the victims. One witness told police the girlfriend driving the truck appeared to be intoxicated.
The girlfriend and the woman she wrecked into were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The boyfriend who was chasing his girlfriend driving the pickup truck was taken into custody.
Police have not released names of anyone involved.
