ST. LOUIS MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Here's the scam: people who were trying to get tickets for a good price a few minutes after the game started. That's when the fake tickets hit the streets. One couple paid almost 500 dollars for two tickets and was turned away at the gate. The scalper selling the tickets even had an accomplice who was bidding against the couple.

Sherry Gusman, who was taken by the scam, says, "Very sad and upset 'cause I saved money to do this and my birthday is on Friday and my guy bought these for me for my birthday. And so, you know, kind of lost my feeling for a great birthday."

Just a short while ago, St. Louis police told us they made an arrest. No way to know if it was for this case or others.
