I joined FOX 2 in October 2006 as a weather producer, and I am also the meteorologist on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I'm so excited to come home and work for the station I grew up watching. That's right, I'm a local girl, born and raised in North St. Louis County, graduating from Incarnate Word Academy in 1999.
In 2003, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Geography/Meteorology from Western Illinois University. While in school, I spent the summer of 2002 interning right here with the FOX 2 weather team. It's nice to come back and see many of the same friendly faces.
After graduation, I started my career in the beautiful city of Anchorage, AK where I worked as the weekend meteorologist for the CBS affiliate, KTVA. My time in Alaska was amazing, and I've got a lot of stories about the Great Land I'm always ready to share. But now, I've come home to the severe storms and crazy weather of St. Louis, and I'm ready to bring you the most accurate forecast in town.
When I'm not staring at radar and satellite images, I enjoy being outside hiking, running, or bike riding. I'm a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan! Oh, and I also consider myself a pretty good cook. You'll have to ask my family if they agree.
