WATERLOO, IL (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Police say the reported death threats against the Coleman family came from Chris Coleman's computer. It's the latest twist in the case against Coleman - who's accused of killing his wife and two kids May 5th in Columbia, il.

Chris Coleman reported his family was getting death threats beginning November 2008. Police now say they can trace that first threat to his work laptop as well as his wireless internet service. In the preliminary hearing, the Police Chief for Columbia, Illinois also testified that the threats repeatedly mis-spelled the word opportunity and that Coleman commonly mis-spelled "opportunity" in other e-mails and letters.

Outside the courtroom, Sheri Coleman's brother, Mario Weiss said the testimony made him want to vomit.

Chris Coleman's family wouldn't talk, but they were smiling and frequently laughing before the hearing. About 15 Coleman supporters showed up ranging from family to members of his Dad's Chester, IL church.

We also learned Coleman reportedly had a cut on his arm that a chaplain asked him about the morning of the murders. Coleman's reported response? "I don't know how I got it." The chaplain said Coleman then began punching the gurney inside the ambulance. Then when Coleman's Dad later asked about the cut -- Coleman reportedly said, "I got it punching the gurney."

Coleman's attorneys, Bill and Art Margulis, didn't have much to say after the hearing.

Sheri's brother wore a lapel in memory of his sister and her two sons.

Other revelations:

An expert witness also determined Sheri, Gavin and Garret died as early as 11 pm the night before the murders.

Police said they asked Chris Coleman -- "How do we find this killer?" They say his answer? "I don't know. Check my home surveillance video." Police then found found the recorder missing Part of that recorder (the face plate) later showed up when the major case squad searched I-255.

Police said Coleman told this mistress he was going to file for divorce May 5th That's the same day Coleman's wife and two kids were found strangled to death. Police said they found no evidence Coleman even planned to file.

Detectives also noticed that every window in the Coleman home was left unlocked, despite the fact Coleman said he secured the windows every night. On the morning of the murders, police found the back window open, the screen on the ground, but no signs of footprints. As soon as they entered, those detectives reported seeing their own footprints as well as grass clippings they were bringing in.

Police say they have Coleman leaving his home at 5:43 a.m. on a neighborhood surveillance camera. Police also report having video of him going into Gold's Gym where they could see him enter the bathroom just after 6 a.m. They report seeing him enter the bathroom, but no other activity.
