Feces Bandit on the Loose
Police are searching for someone who is leaving human feces in various locations in Maryland Heights and Westport. It's been rubbed on the walls of public restrooms in restaurants,and wiped on snack machines. The Health Department says it's a hazard, but police are refusing to disclose where the unsanitary vandalism has happened. Should they tell?

Someone, or some people, are doing something very disgusting. They are smearing feces on the walls in restrooms in restaurants, public buildings, and stores all over the St. Louis area. Police say this is more than just a prank. It's potentially very dangerous and if a person is caught doing this, they potentially face a number of charges.
In some cases, walls, mirrors and even the ceilings have been covered in feces. They have even smeared it in a light switches so when customers reach to flip on the light, they put their hands right into the fecal matter.
In another case at a local college the feces was placed in vending machines, so people touched it when they reached for their change or reached in to grab their food.
Psychologists say there are often psychological problems associated with this type of behavior because it usually has a deeper meaning. They say there may be resentment issues over problems like incontinence or anger over bowel problems. Because of the number of businesses that have been hit, some people believe there has to be some sort of on-line chat community about this where perpetrators compare notes about where they have smeared.

We need to reinstate public flogging when we catch this idiot!

Dixie..I am a student at FVCC, and Fox 2 news did not know anything about it...FVCC wants to keep it hush hush.....person-aly, I dont like knowing my hand could be stuck in someone's poop! Thank You very much!
