The health care reform debate took to the streets of St. Louis Tuesday. Demonstrations were scheduled to take place at a number of intersections in St. Louis City during the morning and afternoon rush hours. The protestors are voicing their opinions in support of health care reform. The Missouri Budget Project says dozens of organizations and hundreds of Missourians will be taking part.
Their message to Congress is now is the time to deliver on federal health care reform. They want elected leaders to include a public health insurance option in the legislation and to ensure affordable coverage for all Missourians.
