The beads are flying and the hurricanes are flowing as hundreds of thousands of party revelers are expected to attend this weekends 30th annual Soulard Mardi Gras. It is the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the country.
The theme for this year's theme is 'Soulard Mardi Gras Parade Of History.'
The grand parade steps off at 11:00am just south of Busch Stadium. The parade route will head east on Chouteau, south on Broadway through the streets of Soulard. The parade will end near the brewery.
Organizers are asking that your arrive early and park legally.
As usual, police will be stepping up enforcement and watching for underage drinking.
