NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) -
A happy ending for an unharmed, but seemingly confused little girl roughly four hours after investigators say 22-year-old Jeremy Coughlin walked into a home on Bellefontaine Road, grabbed her, and took off in a red minivan.
Jeremy Coughlin is the three-year-old's, Alexandria Coughlin, father but police say he doesn't have parental rights and was in "an extremely agitated state".
Sgt. Tony Coleman with St. Louis County Police told FOX 2, "He was making some threats on the phone. Not against the child. And he agreed to turn the child over, so it ended peacefully."
Family members say they've had problems with Coughlin in the past and are glad police acted quickly and were able to bring little Alexandria home. He may face charges in the incident.
