Corrections Officer Accused of Kissing Inmate

BONNE TERRE, Mo. (AP) --—
A female corrections officer at an eastern Missouri state prison has been caught on camera kissing and caressing an offender. St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock told the Park Hills Daily Journal that the woman was escorted off the property of Eastern Reception Diagnostic Correctional Center in Bonne Terre last week in handcuffs.

Bullock said the woman, a 48-year-old Park Hills resident, later admitted to kissing the offender. She was arrested and taken to the St. Francois County Jail but later released. His department has asked the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney's office to file sex offense charges against the corrections officer.
