WELLSTON, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) -
Police continue to search for a gold SUV linked to a deadly double murder that occurred in Wellston Monday night. The shooting happened around 6:30pm on Page Boulevard just west of Skinker.
Police say Demerrio Fields, 22, and Ronnell Perkins, 21 were both shot in the head and were found lying in the street. One victim died at the scene and the other later died at the hospital.
Police are still searching for the shooters and the gold SUV. They describe the vehicle as possibly being a Nissan and having tinted windows and a thick, black stripe. The SUV was last seen occupied by two black males and last seen eastbound on Page. No motive is being discussed.
