CHESTERFIELD, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com)—
Hundreds of dogs set a world record in Chesterfield Saturday. At an event called "Howling Muttrimony", 184 dog couples walked down the aisle at the Petropolis Pet Store and Clinic. The event shattered the Guiness Book record for a mass pet wedding of 178 canine couples.

Fox 2's Martin Kilcoyne and St. Louis Blues defenseman Barret Jackman, are among those whose dogs tied the knot.

The fun event was part of a pet adoption day, which was also a huge success. More than 100 pets went home with new owners on Saturday.
