Attention public transit users, soon you may need to find a new way to work. Metro is ending service at more than 2,300 bus stops in order to save money. Help is on the way from the group RideFinders who will be hitting the road offering information on their services to those who need it.RideFinders, the St. Louis regional rideshare program created and operated by Madison County Transit, is hosting informational events at several area commuter lots currently served by Metro's Express bus routes.
RideFinders representatives will be at the following commuters Lots from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on the following dates to offer information about how carpooling and vanpooling may be viable alternatives for riders whose routes will be eliminated March 30, 2009:

March 4: Arnold, I-55 and Richardson Rd., serving Bus Route 40X
March 5: South County, I-55 and Reavis Barracks Rd., serving Bus Routes 10X/40X
March 5: Chesterfield, Chesterfield Mall, serving Bus Route 410X
