(KTVI - FOX2now.com) - Three years ago the kidnapping of baby Abby Woods captivated St. Louis and the nation. Now, FOX 2's is the only local television station to talk with the woman who stole the newborn and slashed her mother's throat. Fox 2's Mandy Murphey talked exclusively with Shannon Torrez from the prison where she's spending the next 30 years. Monday night on the FOX Files, Torrez will tell her side of the story, speaking openly about the painful, life-changing event. At happened just before Shannon lost control mentally.

"I thought that I was driving home and that I had found her on the side of the road sitting in the ditch that there was a blanket sitting there and that I had picked up the blanket to see what it was and it a baby and that I had found her," Torrez said.
