Fallen Sergeant Christopher Cooper returned home Monday morning The soldier received full honors when his body was brought to Lambert Airport. Cooper was serving in Babil Province Iraq when he was killed. He first joined the Marine Corps in 2000. After serving five years active duty with one tour in Iraq, Cooper decided to leave the military and moved to California.
But a short time later he enlisted in the Army Reserves and signed on to the U.S. Army as a full-time active solider. Cooper re-enlisted just last month. Visitation is Tuesday and funeral services are planned for Wednesday.
