The National Weather Service reported a tornado on the ground briefly near Elsberry, Missouri around 7pm Friday. That's about sixty miles northwest of St. Louis. There were no injuries or reports of serious damage. That was one of the major notes during another wild night of weather across the bi-state.

The line of storms that began pushing through early in the evening produced a number of tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings. High winds lashed across the FOX 2 viewing area along with heavy rains.
