Jefferson County Sheriff's investigators are looking for Halloween thieves who made off with some scary props used at a haunted house in Fenton. The props were recently stolen from Creepy World haunted house. They are not only scary, but also expensive. Several full standing characters such as latex skeletons, life size bloody pigs, and other props used to frighten people in the haunted house were taken.
The owners of the haunted house think the thief or thieves are people who' are either a big Halloween enthusiasts or want to open their own haunted house.
The props take weeks, sometimes months, to make and deliver to the company, Halloween Productions. No one else in St. Louis owns the particular items which are used in certain scenes. The value estimate on the stuff that was stolen is between ten and fifteen thousand dollars.
