Police and parents in Webster Groves are on the lookout for a man who's allegedly exposing himself to little girls in the Margaret Park Area. Investigators say it's happened twice in the last two weeks. They're stepping up patrols in the areas where the crimes have happened and hoping for help from the public. Just on Wednesday, Webster Groves police got four calls about possible sightings. So far no arrests have been made and that's bad news for worried parents.

A 9-year-old student from Avery Elementary School in Webster Groves was one of the two young girls approached by the alleged exposer. The other girl was 12 or 13.

Cindy Shaw has two kids at Avery. Shaw recently moved her family to Webster Groves thinking it was safe. With this scare, she is "definitely upset, scared for my kids' safety."

"This guy could come at any time of the day, we've got kids playing now, still evening time," the concerned mother added.

Investigators say the first incident happened at Fairview and Cornelia on October 13. The other occasion was this past Monday at Margaret and Atlanta.

Police tell us in both cases, the suspect was in a car and asked the girls for directions. The trouble happened when the girls got close to the car.

Captain Stephen Spear from the Webster Groves police department said "When our subjects, our victims approach the vehicle, they're observing that the suspect driving the vehicle is actually naked from the waist down."

Both girls ran away and the suspect drove off.

Sally Jackoway, who has a fourth grader at Avery, is now talking to her kids about stranger danger. Jackoway said "We're just going to make sure that we keep an eye on our kids 100 percent of the time and you know they're not going to be going anywhere alone in the neighborhood."

Police say the suspect is a white man in his 20's or maybe early 30's. He has short, sandy blond hair with little or no facial hair. He's driving a black, newer model four door sedan. It possibly has tinted windows and silver or white striping.

Investigators say the suspect has not tried to lure the kids into the car or grab them. He just exposes himself. Call Webster Groves police if you have any information.
