RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) -
While commuters may be glad the highway is reopened, businesses in Brentwood are jumping for joy. After two years, the highway is reopned through the Brentwood/Richmond Heights area and business owners are waiting on their customers to return. The highway closure cost some business around the corridor thousands of dollars in business as people simply avoid the area to avoid construction woes. Monday morning, Matt Williams of Saint Louis Cellars was one of the first to toast to the new opening and thank MoDOT and Gateway Constructors for all their hard work.
