ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI-FOX2Now.com)—
A police chase in the Metro East ends on I-270 at Rt. 3 when the driver of the car being chased hit an embankment and went airborne. The chase started when officers saw a white Chevy with Indiana license plates driving erratically on 157 in Collinsville.The Granite City Police Department are announcing charges stemming from the pursuit.
- Joseph R Radtke a 27-year-old from Valpear Indiana is charged with three counts aggravated fleeing and one count unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $200,000.
- Michael Sommers a 23-year-old from Chesterton Indiana is charged with one count of unlawful possession of controlled substance. His bond is set at $50,000.
Both of these subjects are currently incarcerated and the Granite City Jail. They will be transferred to another location later today.
