It's likely not a good idea to startle someone who is 90-years-old, but the usual rules don't apply to Mary Docter. She arrived for her eight hour warehouse shift at Superior Products for a party.
Docter purchased the business in 1994, when she was 75-years-old. She had planned to help out when she could instead she's worked everyday since.
Mary is the chief barrel washer and a taskmaster, event at her own party.
They call the company Superior for the products it makes. In the case of Mary Docter it also seems to apply to the oldest employee.
Superior would be in a tough spot if she would choose to retire. Mary makes up 16-percent of the workforce. Superior employs six workers.
