MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI - FOX2now.com) -
A culvert collapse in Edwardsville, Illinois changed one family's life forever. From the concrete rubble would come one miracle and one horrible tragedy. The dramatic rescue played out live on FOX 2. Eight months ago, 9-year-old Jordan Crow and his 7-year-old sister Macie were playing in the culvert, pretending to be archeologists, when out of nowhere, the 80 year old culvert collapsed.
Macie was killed.
Now Macie's parents, brothers and sister struggle to move on.
Macie's mom Amanda Crow says, "It's just not our family more. I don't even remember what it feels like to be us and I hate that."
Now for the first time, the family who lived through this nightmare shares their story with FOX 2's Mandy Murphey Monday night on the Fox Files. You will see what the culvert looks like now as Amanda returns there for the first time.
