LAMBERT AIRPORT, (KTVI-FOX2now.com)—
Around 8:00 a.m. Thursday TSA and Lambert Security closed Concourse A for a 1/2 hour stretch in order to handle an issue. Jeff Lea, Lambert PR, says this appeared to be a bag that had to be re-screened. This was not a security breach where a person got through a security checkpoint. Passengers were delayed during the half hour shutdown while the issue was resolved.The concourse has been re-opened a less than an hour later and full operations have resumed. The issue did not turn out to be a threat against the airport. Lea expects to release further details later.
