CHESTERFIELD, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Students learning to be commercial airline pilots are grounded when their school closes without notice. Langa Air has facilities at airports in Bethalto, Illinois, and Chesterfield, Missouri. The company posted a message Tuesday on its door telling everyone it's shutting down because of money problems and indicates it's headed into bankruptcy.

In the statement, the owner says he has sacrificed his income, financial health and retirement to keep Langa going. An estimated 150 students and 30 workers are a part of the organization. Students say the company still has thousands of their tuiition dollars and they want their money returned. They also want their flight records so they can begin classes at a new flight school.
