A 21 year old Chesterfield woman was killed while riding a bike coast to coast to raise money for charities. Paige Hicks, a 2007 graduate of Marquette High School, was taking part in Bike and Build. Tuesday, in South Dakota Paige died when she was hit by a semi hauling a combine.

She was raising more than $4,000 dollars, the money would got to groups like Habitat for Humanity.

Paige was an outstanding student at Marquette and involved in many activities.

She is the second Marquette graduate to be mourned in a week. Last week, Zach Fisher, a soldier in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan died when a roadside bomb exploded.

One educator told FOX 2, "Both of them were doing things for others when they lost their lives."
