GRANITE CITY, IL (KTVI - FOX2now.com)—
The Granite City Police Department says that a train struck a pedestrian early Saturday morning. Around 7:00am, an unidentified man was injured by a freight train near the intersection of Pontoon Road and Sara. The man was airlifted to a St. Louis area hospital. He is listed in critical condition.
