Two suspects are in custody after an incident where a police cruiser was rammed causing injuries to two St. Louis police officers Friday. The driver of a box truck rammed the cruiser about 2 p.m. One St. Louis officer sustained trauma to his body while the other may have broken his wrist, according to St. Louis Police Capt. Joseph Spies.
DEA agents were watching the house of a suspected meth lab in the 2200 block of Jefferson in South St. Louis. Two occupants came out of the home, got in a car, and drove away. They wound up ramming a St. Louis police vehicle. There is no word at this time how St. Louis police became involved.
One suspect was caught after a short foot chase. The second was caught later.
After the arrests, DEA agents raided the house is question and found a working meth lab.
