A suspicious fire damages a section of Pattonville Heights Middle School early Wednesday morning. The fire is being investigated as arson because it started with some sort of device thrown through a window on the west side of the building near the gymnasium. The room that was targeted was the orchestra room. The fire was contained to that building thanks to the sprinkler system. The damage was minimal, but the room will remain off limits until the full clean up is complete.

Despite the damage, students will be in class and classes will not be interrupted says Mike Fulton,Pattonville Superintendent, "We're going to have class. Because the fire was so contained, there's not going to be a problem having classes. We'll just have very minor disruptions at most."
