Rams' fans were waiting for the first home start of rookie phenom Sam Bradford, and they didn't walk away disappointed. While the new "face of the franchise" was only on the field for one series, that series was nothing short of perfection. Literally. Bradford threw six passes, completing every one. He threw for 68 yards and a touchdown on his lone drive of the night.Bradford has not been named the regular season starter. Journeyman quarterback A.J. Feeley remains number one on the depth chart, but most observers expect that to change between now and the regular season opener against Arizona a week from Sunday.
The fourth preseason game is traditionally the least interesting, with starting players spending little, if any, time on the field. Ravens starters, including star linebacker Ray Lewis and quarterback Joe Flacco will not play at all.
Flacco's time on the bench will not mean action for former Rams quarterback Mark Bulger. Thrid stringer Troy Smith will play the entire game. Bulger was released during the off-season as the Rams overhauled the quarterback position.
