Saint Ann police say they've captured a suspect who exposed himself on at least two occasions to students who attend Pattonville schools. He was caught in a public restroom in the company of another man. School administrators who say they are glad is off the street.

St. Ann police finally arrested their suspect after he alluded them for about one month. This past weekend detectives arrested Gary Avery. He was caught in a public ladies room with another man who was a cross dresser.

Last month Avery reportedly exposed himself to several school age girls who were waiting at their school bus stop at Adie road and Old Saint Charles Rock Road. A few days later he exposed himself to some teenage boys standing at the same bus stop. This time Avery was the one that was surprised. One of the boys punched him and the perpetrator ran off.

Avery reportedly lived in the area of Adie and Old Saint Charles Rock Road. That's why investigators believe he targeted that area.

Chief Robert Schrader says that Avery confessed to both crimes. He now faces charges of sexual deviant behavior involving a child.
