ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Supporters of a north St. Louis not for profit are stunned over a triple shooting that left one victim in critical condition and two others in serious condition. It was Monday around 12:30 p.m. when a gunman got out of a red car with two guns in his hands and started shooting. The victims were standing outside New Beginnings, a not for profit that helps people with drug and alcohol addictions. Many of their clients are parolees.

They victims were outside in an area where clients and employees can smoke when the shooting occurred. Employees are stunned.

"They're like everybody else, in shock," said Rev. Lynn Mins.

"Basically everybody's scared," said Spencer Forside, an employee.

Some fear the triple shooting could slow down the good work New Beginnings has done. Rev. Mins asked the staff to stay strong.

"You can't stop trying to make a difference you have to keep trying," said Rev. Mins.

Police are looking for a red, two door Monte Carlo that they believe the shooter was either driving or was a passenger inside.

"He didn't say anything. He just pulled up jumped out of the car started firing shots got back in the car went south on Union and then made a left on Natural Bridge," said Capt. Rochelle Denise Jones, St. Louis Police Department.

Supporters of New Beginnings hope an arrest is made soon and the victims will recover.
