TROY, IL (KTVI-FOX2now.com)—
Police in Troy, Illinois, were involved in a standoff situation with an armed man in the 500 block of Patton in a subdivision that is under construction in Madison County, Illinois.

A police negotiator spoke with the man for about an hour as he stood in the middle of one of the streets in the subdivision. When the situation was resolved around 12:10p.m., the police negotiation hugged the man before walking him over to waiting police cars.
