WASHINGTON PARK, IL (KTVI - FOX2now.com) -
Washington Park police are searching for the gunman involved in a deadly late-night shooting. The victim has been identified, but police have not released his name. The 22 year old from O'Fallon, Illinois was shot just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night near Portland Place and North 56th Street. Residents heard shots in the area and called police.
When officers arrived, the victim was found lying in the street. His burned out car was found a couple of miles away. Witness told police they saw a gray, boxy type vehicle int he area around the time of the shooting.
