It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A, especially if it's brand new.. That's what's happening at the new Carondolet Park Rec Plex, which opened Friday morning. The new digs are at 930 Holly Hills in Carondolet Park in South St. Louis. It officially opened Thursday, but Friday is the first full day it will be open. The facility boasts a 76,000 square foot facility. Some of the features include a fitness center and aerobics studio, an indoor water park., a double court gym, an elevated indoor track.
The double court gym is equipped with 12 basketball goals and volleyball nets.
There is also a child and tot watch area where kids are supervised while their parents exercise.
Admission is free and so are classes through November 29th after that you must buy a membership.
