100 suspected terrorists could be moving to federal prisons in the United States. Two prisons being considered are in Marion, Illinois near Carbondale and the second in Thomson, Illionis which is 350 miles north of St. Louis. But should Illinois be the home for terror suspects? Some say it will make the state a direct terror target.

Illinois US Senator Dick Durbin accuses Republicans of 'fear mongering' for their opposition to transferring Gitmo prisoners to Illinois. Senator Durbin says it would bring jobs to the struggling state. Republican leaders say it will bring terrorists and threaten places like O'Hare Airport and Chicago's tallest buildings.
