They're images we're all too familiar with, U.S. soldiers fighting in war torn countries. Army life is rough on tough bodies, with the weight of the equipment, lack of sleep, high stress, and poor eating habits. Soldiers returning home have to deal with it all and the added cost at the VA is picked up by the taxpayers.
But there are ways to decrease the pain and the expense. The first female general to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan, Brigadier General Becky Halstead explained her mission.
General Halstead is giving the keynote address at the American Chiropractic Association's "Chiropractic Symposium and Expo" Friday morning at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront.
