MILLSTADT, IL (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Like a page from the three little pigs, an area home builders group is huffing and puffing. They want to blow down talk of a brick ordinance in Millstadt, Illinois. If passed, the brick ordinance would require new homes to be built with a percentage of brick or stone. The Home Builders Association of Greater Southwest Illinois says it is an unfair ordinance and would results in higher prices and limit those who can buy homes. A similar ordinance is in place in nearby Columbia. Columbia Mayor Kevin Hutchison talked about his city's brick ordinance works.
