(KTVI - FOX2now.com)—
The soggy ground caused a tree to crash through part of the hospital at the World Bird Sanctuary. Because of the damage and the repair expenses, the hospital may be forced to close. Walt Crawford from the World Bird Sanctuary says that unless the wildlife hospital gets donations of $40,000 in the next 60 days, it will be forced to close the 35-year old hospital on June 1st.
To help, send your donation to: Wildlife Hospital Appeal, 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road, Valley Park, Missouri 63088.
