Weatherspoon Named Finalist for Butkus Award
Weatherspoon enters this Saturday's home finale against Iowa State with a team-best 93 tackles, including 12.0 tackles for loss and 3.5 quarterback sacks. His 9.3 tackles-per game average is currently 2nd-best in the Big 12 Conference, and 30th-best in the NCAA, while he also ranks 29th in the nation with his 1.25 tackles for loss average.

Mizzou Completes 2010 Football Schedule
The final opening on the 2010 University of Missouri football schedule has been filled with San Diego State University, as announced today by the Department of Athletics. Missouri and San Diego State will square off in Columbia, as part of a one-game agreement, on Sept 18, 2010.

Tigers Host Cyclones In Final Home Game
The Missouri Tigers (6-4 overall, 2-4 in Big 12 Conference play) will bring a close to the 2009 home season this Saturday as they play host to the Iowa State Cyclones (6-5, 3-4) at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium. Kickoff for the game, which is not being televised, is set for 1:07 p.m. (central time).
