Rams Linebacker Suspended for Performance Enhancing Substances
EARTH CITY, MO (KTVI - FOX2now.com) - Rams Linebacker David Vobora has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating leagues policy on performance enhancing substances. The suspension begins immediately. Vobora will be eligible to return to the team after the October 25th game against the Indianapolis Colts.

In a statement issued by the Rams, Coach Steve Spagnuolo didn't sound as though the team will make any kind of appeal.

"Dave's situation is unfortunate, said Spagnuolo. "He has been a vital part of our team, and we are disappointed that we will be without him for the next four games. However, we respect the League's decision in this matter."

Vobora won a starting linebacker's position just before the season began after the Rams cut popular veteran linebacker Chris Draft. Vobora is a second year player from the University of Idaho who is best known for his status as "Mr. Irrelevant," the nickname given to the last player taken in the NFL Draft. Vabora was the final selection of last year's seventh round.
